Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released exclusively in the United States, 'Flowers' is a patchwork compilation hastily assembled by London Records to capitalize on the band's massive mid-1960s momentum. The album aggregates non-album singles, outtakes, and tracks previously omitted from the American pressings of 'Aftermath' and 'Between the Buttons'. Despite its disjointed origins, it perfectly encapsulates the group's temporary but highly successful foray into baroque arrangements and psychedelic pop textures.
