Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released a year after the band's initial breakup, 'Rotten Apples' is a comprehensive chronological map of their staggeringly successful 1990s chart dominance. The compilation seamlessly transitions from the abrasive, fuzz-drenched grunge of 'Siamese Dream' into the highly ambitious, heavily synthesized dream-pop of their later eras. Accompanied by the previously unreleased swan-song 'Untitled', it captures Billy Corgan's unique ability to blend furious heavy metal dynamics with fragile, melancholic melodrama.
