Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drawn from Tom Waits's 1999 appearance on the VH1 Storytellers series, this collection pairs live performances with the spoken introductions in which Waits spun tall tales around his songs. It captures his gravel-voiced raconteur persona during the 'Mule Variations' period.
