Album Notes & Community Reviews
The second installment in the Numero Group's exhaustive reissue campaign, this box set archives the band's critical 1993-1994 era, containing the albums 'Fake Train' and 'New Plastic Ideas'. Highlighting their evolution from noisy basement punk into sophisticated, deeply dissonant post-hardcore, the music is characterized by jagged guitar scraping and incredibly tense, interlocking rhythms. The campaign is highly regarded for its meticulous preservation of Pacific Northwest indie rock history.
