Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the definitive manifesto for "electronic listening music," this seminal compilation effectively birthed the IDM genre. Featuring early contributions from Aphex Twin, Autechre, and The Orb, the album presents an incredibly futuristic, hypnotic, and ambient take on techno that prioritized surreal atmospheres over dancefloor functionality.
