Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally released in 1951 on 10-inch LP and expanded here, this Prestige compilation features early, definitive recordings by Miles Davis, Stan Getz, and Lee Konitz. The collected sessions offer a vivid cross-section of the emerging cool jazz aesthetic during its formative years.
