Album Notes & Community Reviews

Driven by arrangements from Benny Golson, this robust studio date features key members of Dizzy Gillespie's big band stretching out in a smaller ensemble setting. The presence of Lee Morgan and Al Grey ensures fiery, virtuosic improvisations anchored by a deeply swinging rhythmic foundation.
