Album Notes & Community Reviews
A cross-generational summit convened for a cause, HELP(2) updates the legacy of its 1995 predecessor with startling urgency. Recorded at Abbey Road under James Ford鈥檚 meticulous production, the album is a sonically dense document of spontaneous creation, weaving the cinematic post-rock of Black Country, New Road and the biting balladry of Arctic Monkeys with unprecedented collaborations from Damon Albarn, Olivia Rodrigo, and Depeche Mode. It is a resonant, emotionally complex tapestry of indie, rock, and pop, its purpose sharpened by Jonathan Glazer鈥檚 accompanying v茅rit茅 film鈥攁 powerful statement on art as advocacy.
