Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Japanese Independent Music' surveys the Japanese avant-prog underground, gathering bands associated with the Rock in Opposition-influenced scene such as Ruins and Tipographica. Dense, technically extreme performances document a national underground largely unheard abroad at the time.
