Album Notes & Community Reviews

A monumentally important compilation released via the legendary Rawkus Records imprint, showcasing the absolute pinnacle of the late-90s independent hip-hop underground. The double album features an incredible roster of emerging talent, including Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Pharoahe Monch, rhyming over pristine, jazz-inflected boom-bap production.
