Compiled by French DJs Julien Dechery and DJ Sundae, this deeply melancholic anthology exhumes impossibly obscure, private-press pop music from the late 1980s and 90s. Spanning minimal wave, DIY folk, and drum-machine-led indie pop, the collection is unified by a distinct, overarching feeling of bedroom isolation and fragile romanticism. It became highly influential among modern crate-diggers for uncovering a hidden world of tender, outsider pop music.
