Album Notes & Community Reviews

Priced incredibly cheaply, this famous CBS Records sampler album functioned as a highly effective marketing tool, introducing a massive British and European audience to the label's burgeoning American folk-rock and psychedelic roster. Featuring essential, culturally defining tracks from Bob Dylan, Simon & Garfunkel, and The Byrds, the collection played a crucial role in popularizing the sophisticated, highly lyrical American countercultural aesthetic overseas.
