Compiled by Chris Menist and Maft Sai, 'The Sound of Siam, Vol. 2' gathers 19 tracks of molam and luk thung Isan recorded between 1970 and 1982, many appearing outside Thailand for the first time. Its artists include singer Angkanang Kunchai, the Petch Phin Thong Band and Saksiam Petchchompu, whose 'Jeb Jing Jeb Jai' folds Western funk into the luk thung Isan style.
