Album Notes & Community Reviews
Perfectly mirroring the kinetic, drug-fueled energy of Danny Boyle's landmark Scottish film, the 'Trainspotting' soundtrack serves as the ultimate time capsule of mid-1990s British youth culture. The compilation masterfully sequences contemporary Britpop and pulse-pounding rave anthems鈥攎ost notably Underworld's 'Born Slippy .NUXX'鈥攁longside vintage glam rock from Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. It remains one of the most culturally defining and critically acclaimed film soundtracks of its decade.
