Album Notes & Community Reviews

Functioning as the definitive North American summary of the hugely influential group, this compilation traces their breathtakingly rapid evolution across a staggeringly talented sequence of lead guitarists. The tracklist seamlessly shifts from the purist blues of the Eric Clapton era to the aggressive, heavily distorted, and increasingly psychedelic sonic innovations pioneered during the tenures of Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.
