Look Ma No Hands

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Surprise-released on Mother's Day via SoundCloud, this deeply emotional two-track collection deals heavily with themes of grief and the passing of the artist's parents. The project features the rapper entirely abandoning hip-hop to play a meandering, improvisational bass clarinet accompanied by James Blake on piano. It offered a surprising, vulnerable glimpse into his musical headspace years before his official ambient flute debut.
