Sleepwalker

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as a two-track 7-inch EP, 'Sleepwalker' is a gorgeous short-form release that showcases Angel Olsen's transition into the 'new weird America' psych-folk movement. The title track pairs her highly expressive, warbling vocals with warm electric guitar lines, while the B-side 'Sweet Dreams' delivers a more driving, full-band indie rock energy. It serves as an essential companion piece, bridging her early bedroom-folk era with her breakthrough studio albums.
