Meeting of the Waters

Recorded live in the heart of the Amazon rainforest for a Vice television documentary series, this improvisational release captures Avey Tare and Geologist operating entirely outside of a traditional studio environment. The deeply organic tracks heavily interweave gentle acoustic guitars and portable synthesizers with the immersive, natural sounds of surrounding wildlife and rivers. It marks a beautiful, peaceful return to the acoustic freak-folk of their earliest days.
