Album Notes & Community Reviews

Comprised of brightly colored, hyperactive outtakes from their 'Painting With' album sessions, this brief collection retains that era's rapid-fire, hocketing vocal interplay. It notably features a highly synthesized, frantically paced cover of the Motown classic 'Jimmy Mack' by Martha and the Vandellas. The production is characterized by bouncy, squelching modular synthesizers and overwhelmingly dense, polyphonic layering.
