Album Notes & Community Reviews

Breaking a five-year silence following the 'Collapse' release, Richard D. James returns with a deeply atmospheric and surprisingly restrained collection. The focus shifts toward lush, melancholic synthesizer pads suspended over tight, breakbeat-driven percussion. It heavily recalls the warmer, emotive ambient techno of his mid-1990s output while retaining a pristine, modern sheen.
