Named after the notoriously difficult-to-program Cheetah MS800 synthesizer, this release features Richard D. James exploring slower, surprisingly restrained grooves. The meticulous sound design highlights sluggish acid squelches and warm, melancholic melodies that stand in stark contrast to his typically hyper-kinetic drill-and-bass output. A bizarre promotional marketing campaign accompanied the project, resembling vintage synthesizer instructional manuals.
