Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reportedly designed specifically by Richard D. James to clear lingering crowds out of raves at the end of the night, this intense release features incredibly rapid, pounding percussion. The title track heavily utilizes an aggressively synthesized emulation of an aboriginal didgeridoo over punishing acid house breakbeats. The relentless, 140-BPM ferocity served as a crucial stepping stone between the hardcore rave scene and the emerging drill-and-bass subgenre.
