Album Notes & Community Reviews

Significantly bridging the gap between his beautiful, beatless ambient works and his frenetic techno programming, this release features gorgeous, soaring synthesizer melodies anchored by driving breakbeats. The expansive title track achieved considerable commercial success, bolstered heavily by a surreal, stop-motion music video directed by Jarvis Cocker. The B-sides display a more aggressive, acid-tinged experimentation that hinted at his increasingly erratic future output.
