Album Notes & Community Reviews

Emphasizing organic, unplugged arrangements, 'Quiet Violence' is a delicate EP that explores chamber folk and acoustic rock textures. The songs are built upon weeping violins, warm acoustic guitars, and gentle percussion, contrasting starkly with their usual drum-machine patterns. This soft, chamber-pop backdrop lends an unusually elegant, bittersweet gravity to Aidan Moffat's dry, observational narratives.
