Album Notes & Community Reviews
Capturing their signature lo-fi aesthetic and stark, conversational songwriting, 'The Clearing' acts as a vital early EP in the duo's early catalog. The recordings balance minimal drum-machine beats, sparse guitar plucking, and raw spoken-word delivery regarding awkward domestic intimacy. The release showcases the skeletal, uncompromising slowcore structure that defined the early days of Falkirk's underground indie scene.
