Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing a massive pivot toward uptempo, synth-driven indie pop, 'The Shy Retirer E.P.' serves as a vital companion piece to their fifth studio album. The EP's title track blends pulsing indietronica beats with rich horn sections and a surprisingly danceable, infectious groove. The record highlights their unique capability of dressing deep romantic despondency in bright, radio-friendly electronic backdrops.
