Composed of material from the sessions for 'Amber', the 'Garbage' EP functions as a companion piece that explores a darker and more enigmatic evolution of its predecessor's atmospheric techno. The four lengthy tracks are built upon intricate, shifting rhythmic frameworks and deep, reverb-heavy sound design, balancing desolate synthesizer motifs with moments of beatless, melodic ambience. Conceptually, the release features cover art derived from a digitally distorted version of 'Amber's sleeve and track titles originally suffixed with their percentage of the EP's total runtime.
