Twoism

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally distributed privately as a highly limited self-financed cassette to friends and record labels, this release was vital in securing the duo's historic contract with Warp Records. It introduces their hallmark blend of decaying synthesizer melodies and crunchy, hip-hop-influenced drum loops. The lo-fi analogue warmth on display established the nostalgic sonic signature they would refine over the next decade.
