Album Notes & Community Reviews
A surrealistic, densely poetic masterpiece that significantly shifted the lyrical parameters of contemporary folk music. Trading strict topical protest for Rimbaud-esque imagery and existential longing, the acoustic performance firmly established Dylan as the preeminent lyrical visionary of his generation.
