Indigo Child

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his first major solo short-form project since his seminal debut mixtape, 'Indigo Child' represents a stylistic transition for Irish witch house and cloud rap artist Buckshot. Released via the Haunted Mound collective, the EP moves away from his signature acoustic-driven, horrorcore-inflected country-goth soundscapes toward a more synthetic, upbeat, and electroclash-inspired palette. Over these glitchy electropop, wave, and synthpop rhythms, his processed vocal flows and introspective lyrics continue to explore themes of regret, self-hatred, and isolation.
