Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing as the very first official release from the elusive producer, this highly sought-after white label 12-inch essentially launched the Hyperdub label into prominence. The four tracks establish his quintessential blueprint: echoing bullet casings, pitch-shifted R&B vocal ghosts, and stuttering, off-grid UK garage percussion. It presented a profoundly lonely, cinematic vision of bass music completely separated from the traditional club experience.
