As one of the very first independent punk records released in the United Kingdom, this self-financed project was instrumental in establishing the DIY ethos of the genre. Featuring original vocalist Howard Devoto, the four tracks present a stripped-down, nervous energy that significantly pre-dates their later, more polished pop-punk successes. The iconic song 'Boredom' perfectly encapsulates the restless apathy of the era.
