Remove Your Skin Please

Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second of two EPs released in 2019, 'Remove Your Skin Please' captures the foundational sound of the Oklahoma City quartet. Its four songs fuse the abrasive, downtuned textures of sludge metal and noise rock with the dissonant, mechanical pulse of industrial music, distinguished by the use of an electronic drum kit. Thematically, the release delves into harrowing and disturbing narratives, solidifying the band's early reputation for bleak, anxiety-fueled storytelling that would be expanded upon in their later work.
