Chat Pile

Chat Pile is an American band from Oklahoma City formed in 2019, whose sludgy, abrasive sound merges noise rock, industrial, and nu-metal. The quartet, consisting of Raygun Busch, Luther Manhole, Stin, and Cap'n Ron, uses pseudonyms and takes its name from toxic mining waste heaps in Oklahoma. Their music explores themes of societal decay, mental anguish, and the grim realities of American life. After gaining underground attention with two EPs, they signed to #The Flenser# and released their critically acclaimed debut album, 'God's Country', in 2022. Their sound often draws comparisons to bands like *Big Black* and *Godflesh*.
