Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released quickly on the heels of their debut album, this three-track collection introduces significantly denser, more expansive gothic atmospheres. The cavernous delay effects on Robin Guthrie's guitar work effectively blanket the mix, pushing Elizabeth Fraser's cryptic vocal wails into a mesmerizing, hypnotic foreground. The brooding production perfectly encapsulates the icy, subterranean aesthetic of the early 1980s post-punk underground.
