Album Notes & Community Reviews
Centering around a deeply atmospheric retelling of the classic Scottish ballad 'Tam Lin', this EP showcases the collective's transition into fully realized, darkly pastoral acoustic music. David Tibet's haunting recitation is accompanied by eerie strings, acoustic guitars, and subtle ambient textures provided by frequent collaborators Michael Cashmore and Rose McDowall. The release beautifully encapsulates their gothic reimagining of British folklore.
