Inversion

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released under a pseudonym by Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus, this atmospheric project plunges deeper into the cavernous minimalism of the Basic Channel universe. The extended runtimes dissolve traditional dance floor propulsion in favor of icy, slowly decaying analog pulses and tape hiss. It acts as an absolute masterclass in tension and spatial audio manipulation within 1990s dub techno.
