Consisting of a single, colossal 22-minute composition, this release operates as a dense theological treatise centered around the biblical concept of the 'Katechon', the force restraining the antichrist. The track structure violently oscillates between suffocating, chaotic dissonance and unnervingly quiet, atmospheric guitar interludes. It pushed the boundaries of orthodox black metal into deeply avant-garde and rhythmically labyrinthine territory.
