Album Notes & Community Reviews
Marking a radical stylistic departure for the Norwegian supergroup, this brief release abandons their traditional black metal roots in favor of avant-garde, industrial-tinged chaos. Integrating orchestral samples, chaotic tempo shifts, and manic piano interludes, the band completely deconstructs the genre's boundaries. It served as a terrifying, highly experimental bridge leading to their masterpiece, '666 International'.
