Album Notes & Community Reviews

Bringing Buffy Sainte-Marie's poignant anti-war composition to a massive British audience, this release solidified the Scottish singer's early reputation as a serious folk troubadour. The stark, acoustic fingerpicking and earnest vocal delivery perfectly captured the burgeoning pacifist sentiment of the mid-sixties youth movement.
