String Tests

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This short-form project investigate the intersection of organic string resonance and digital sound design through a series of skeletal melodic sketches. The arrangements prioritize the physical sensation of the instruments, utilize close-mic recordings and subtle signal processing. It serves as a stylistic laboratory for the more orchestrated chamber work that would follow on his subsequent major studio full-lengths.
