Arriving near the very beginning of their career, this incredibly upbeat release finds the legendary Japanese band heavily submerged in the emerging Shibuya-kei sound. Eschewing the sprawling, dub-soaked psychedelia of their later masterpieces, the tracks focus on bouncy, reggae-inflected pop melodies and bright horn sections. It provides a fascinating, joyful glimpse into Shinji Sato's earliest pop ambitions.
