Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in London with engineer John Loder, this ferocious follow-up solidified the legendary post-hardcore sound the quartet had pioneered a year earlier. Guy Picciotto's erratic, strained vocal performances effectively counterbalance Ian MacKaye's stoic delivery over sharp, dub-influenced basslines. These tracks were subsequently bundled with their debut EP to form the essential '13 Songs' compilation.
