Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut short-form release from the Canberra-based artist features production by Simon Marvin and Perrin Moss of 'Hiatus Kaiyote'. The arrangements blend organic jazz instrumentation with abstract hip-hop structures and idiosyncratic vocal flows. It established Owusu's reputation for genre-fluidity and sophisticated rhythmic layering within the Australian independent music scene.
