Album Notes & Community Reviews
Surprise-released to bridge the gap between their two critically acclaimed full-length albums, this incredibly lush collection leans heavily into 1960s pop nostalgia. Christopher Owens' uniquely strained, highly emotional vocal delivery pairs brilliantly with grand horn arrangements and shimmering, surf-influenced guitars. The sprawling, epic closer 'Carolina' elegantly highlights the band's remarkable growth from lo-fi bedroom recording into massive, sweeping cinematic pop.
