Continuing the abrasive path of their 'Streetcleaner' era, this EP delves deeper into cold, mechanized dance rhythms and early UK techno influences. Justin Broadrick's punishing guitar tone is chopped and integrated directly with drum machines, heavily emphasizing groove over traditional metal riffing. It foreshadowed the impending 90s collision of extreme metal and electronic body music.
