Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Washington D.C. stalwarts begin to subtly expand their sound beyond the rigid confines of early hardcore on this brief but potent release. 'Joy Ride' retains their ferocious speed and John Stabb's manic vocal energy while hinting at the more melodic, post-hardcore structures they would later explore. It is a crucial transitional EP for one of the city's longest-running punk acts.
