Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by the legendary Jack Endino, this ferocious release famously carried the inaugural Sub Pop promotional tagline promoting 'ultra-loose grunge that destroyed the morals of a generation'. The incredibly sludgy, Aerosmith-meets-Black Flag riffing provided by Stone Gossard and Bruce Fairweather completely codified the heavy aesthetic of the nascent Seattle underground.
