Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released on Mark Kozelek's boutique label, this four-track collection continues Justin Broadrick's pursuit of emotionally resonant, immensely heavy guitar atmospheres. 'Opiate Sun' buries its beautiful, distinctly pop-oriented vocal melodies under towering, down-tuned sludge riffs and slow, deliberate percussion.
