The Rockwood EP

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Comprised of the final eight tracks from the preceding mixtape 'The Rockwood Escape Plan', this EP represents a distinct era in JPEGMAFIA's early production under the Devon Hendryx moniker. The release brings together lo-fi cloud rap and dense, nostalgic plunderphonics, capturing a transition from bedroom-pop-infused loops to complex sample collages. It serves as a vital archival piece that documents his early stylistic experiments before relocate-driven changes in his career.
